1 block in the Nether = 8 blocks in the Overworld. Type in either side.
Why didn't my portals link?
- A portal looks for an existing portal within 128 blocks of the matching spot in the Overworld, and within 16 blocks in the Nether. If two portals are close together, they can grab the same one.
- Build the second portal at the exact coordinates above, then walk through the first one again.
- Y doesn't get divided. The Nether's ceiling is at Y=128, so build below that.
